Ouch. That sucks. And a 100mm macro lens isn't exactly tiny, so it's probably not hidden between the laundry.

Can you remember when you last used it? Maybe you took it to a friend and forgot it there, or left it in your car?

I've looked everywhere few and far between. I'm pretty sure it disappeared into the deep abyss of my room, that I swear is part of the Bermuda Triangle. Everything gets lost in my room and never returns. It's creepy. Probably a poltergeist, with my luck.

Maybe a subspace anomaly.

In my experience things reappear when you forget about them and look for something completely different. I went to the basement yesterday looking for a certain cardboard box, which I did not find of course. Instead I found some other items that had been missing for almost a year, like the driver CD and manual for my old ISDN card. Not quite what I wanted, but still nice.
